Below is a suggested set of rules to follow when editing this wiki.

general behavior rules

1. Keep it civil: Do not make personal attacks on other people. If you need to criticize another user’s argument, do so without attacking them as a person. Do not use slurs which degrade another person or group of people based on gender, race, nationality, religion, etc.
2. No bad words: No bad words of any kind shall be used in posts, comments, or messages, even if they are not used toward anyone. Remember that DC Super Hero Girls is A PG rated series and content should stay within that threshold.
3. Do not engage in excessive self-promotion: The wiki is a collaborative community resource for the topic at hand. It is NOT a free place to advertise your related website, YouTube channel, blog, social media account, etc. Have a question about whether your link would be welcome? Ask an administrator!
4. Do not harass other users: If somebody asks you to stop posting certain content on their wall, respect their wishes. It is their wall.
5. Be a productive member of the wiki: Contribute to the wiki in line with the established processes and conventions. Need help? Ask an administrator! Disrupting the wiki with “edit warring” over differing opinions of a topic with another user or group of users is not productive.
6. Use English: This is an english wiki and all content should be in english. Content that is not in english will be deleted.

Wiki editing rules

1. Keep all content appropriate: All content must be age appropriate. Anything that you make can not have R or higher rated content, and PG13 content should be limited(No Bad Words or Sex). This also includes adding media that has been rated higher than PG13 or TV14. Articles found to contain mature content will be edited to remove the content and the creator given a warning.
2. Use proper categories: In order to maintain an orderly wiki, use proper categories when creating a new page. For example, use only either the Males or Females category when categorizing a character's gender. Any duplicate categories (Categories that mean the same thing as an existing category even if the name is slightly different) will be removed. If you feel the need to make a new category, make sure that it is not similar to an existing category.
3. New content must relate to DCSHG in some way: all new articles or images must be related to DC Super Hero Girls. This is after all a DC Super Hero Girls Fanon wiki. This isn't a ban on original characters or non DC characters. Just make sure that those characters have some connection to DCSHG. This also implies to images. Any content found to not be related to DCSHG or DC will be deleted.

Continuity rules

1. New article are Legends: This wiki currently recognizes 3 fan made continuities, Steel Jaw, All Star, and Legends. However, the first 2 continuities are established by their creators. If you make a new article, it must be categorized as Legends Continuity, unless you plan on making your own continuity or the creators of the other 2 continuities have agreed to allow your article into their continuity.
2. New continuities must have a main page: If you do decide to create your own continuity, you must first create a main continuity page. This page describes what the continuity is about and what content is in your continuity. From there, you are free to create articles that fit into your continuity such as seasons, episodes, and characters. Also note that a new continuity must have its own category that all its content must be categorized under.
