Mon Purple Triad (Real names Bernard Shelly, Melaina Contesa and Chann Moon) are members of The Purples and a few of their soldiers.

Melaina, Bernard and Chann are best known in their school as huge Horror Fans as they loved monster movies but not the modern ones but rather the classic with Vampire, Stitched up creatures and Were-Wolves. They even formed a Horror Fan Club after school with them bring the heads of the club (Melaina as President, Bernard as Vice-President and Chann as the Treasurer) However when a Member wanted to expend the club by including the modern monsters in the genre, The Trio refused until an election was held and Melaina lost with only 3 votes and to make matters worse, She, Bernard and Chann were kicked out of their own club.
Later that night after existing from their favorite horror book store/restaurant, Melaina, and the others were all depressed that their club, which they had for nearly a year, was taken away and to insult to injurie, they added those new modern monsters rather then the classic ones in their group. Just then Spencer Purple arrived and offer them a chance to get back at them for what they did. Upon taking out The "Purpura Cabochon De Oculus", The Trio place their hands on the Gem, and notice nothing is happening until the Full Moon hit them and each of them transformed such as Melaina skin became pale and grew fangs out of her mouth. Bernard growing 2 feet taller and Chann body covered in Hair. The trio then asked Spencer what he did to them and he told them the Gem gave them powers that much their characters, thus turning them into Classic Monsters. As they demanded to be changed back, Spencer told them they need to concentrate to change back, which they did and learns they can transforms into their monster forms and Spencer told them they can keep the powers if they Join the Purples, which they considered after a Trial Basis tomorrow after school.
Later at the Horror Club after school, The Trio used their powers to attack (but not kill) the members for disrespecting the club by not honoring the rules such as adding Modern Monsters in the club and warning them to return the club back to the original founders or else. Afterwards they escaped with no one noticing that they were the monsters and return back to the club as the founders. Later they encountered Spencer and agreed to join The Purples, with Spencer giving them their code names; Colti Purple (Melaina) Franken Purple (Bernard) and Wolfe Purple (Chann).
